Where is the Harvest?
Audio / Produced by The High CallingTranscript
Judy wanted most in life to serve the Lord! Should she quit her full-time job for full-time ministry? She earnestly asked God to show her what to do.
The next week, in the company restroom, Judy found a coworker crying. Marital problems. Judy took her to lunch. The week after, a team-member’s father died. Judy was the only coworker to attend the funeral. By the next week, Judy knew God had answered her prayer.
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Jesus told his disciples that the harvest fields are full. It’s workers he wants. Where you are or what you’re doing is never the wrong field. If YOU are there, your harvest is, too . . . in the high calling of our daily work.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few." Matthew 9:37 (NIV)
